Hi! I’m Akemi Asahina, an abstract painting artist, designer, and writer.  

Born in 1981 in Japan.
Lives and works in Kanagawa-ken.

I designed my first CD jacket with Photoshop when I was 17.

Since then, I’ve been hooked on design—and before I knew it, over 20 years had passed.

Along the way, I spent a decade in the web industry and also fell in love with the analog world of abstract painting.

I adore mixing paints and watching the natural harmony of leftover colors on the palette.

I hope everyone can enjoy the freedom of creative expression.
